The biggest question surrounding the incoming Biden administration’s foreign policy is whether it can somehow reassemble the tattered Iran nuclear deal. International observers everywhere agree it will be a delicate and complicated task. Iran’s trust in the United States, they say, is all but shattered by Trump’s unilateral withdrawal from the deal and it will take a lot of convincing — perhaps even financial compensation — to get Iran to return to the deal.
